Topping Out Of New Workshop Building

A key milestone has been reached with the topping out of the new workshop and office building for Oxford Brookes University. Vice-Chancellor Janet Beer joined staff and students from the Built Environment for a tour of the new workshop building on Gipsy Lane site to mark the topping out on Monday 2 March. Students were able to discuss key technical elements of the design with Gentle Consulting staff and other members of the project team.
To celebrate the occasion, Gentle Consulting Construction Management Director, John Gentle, presented Professor Beer with a commemorative plaque.
Gentle Consulting is providing Construction and Project Management services for this multi-million pound landmark scheme which is due for completion in Summer 2009.
From start to finish, Gentle provided a diligent yet refreshingly agile approach. The project was completed on time and to budget.
