Eighteen71 Cafe Opens In Winchester Guildhall

eighteen71, the new cafe within Winchester Guildhall opened its doors on Friday 2 July.
The completion of eighteen71 marks the end of the first stage of the Winchester Guildhall refurbishment which is being project managed by Gentle Consulting.
The Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Richard Izard, officially opened the new cafe and Councillor Kelsie Learney, Leader of Winchester City Council, praised the vision of the designers and project team. Gentle Consulting's Ray Jones commented: "While this first phase has proven to be a challenging introduction to the refurbishment project, careful resource and time management by Gentle Consulting ensured a successful delivery and what we hope will be a commercial success for Winchester City Council."
eighteen71 is open seven days a week, and offers a take away facility as well as an inside and outside eatery.
From start to finish, Gentle provided a diligent yet refreshingly agile approach. The project was completed on time and to budget.
