Construction of a 2,400m? three-storey building to accommodate library and IT suites on the top two floors with teaching facilities on the ground floor. The construction comprises a steel frame with concrete floors and metal deck roof, aluminium double glazed windows, facing brickwork, curtain walling and feature timber cladding. With maintenance being a major concern, finishes specified are of a ?robust? nature, generally plaster internally to floors and ceiling and suitable carpet and hard floor finishes on a raised access floor. External works include extensive landscaping to form new courtyard and outdoor recreational space, and modification to Bereweeke Road entrances to improve vehicular and pedestrian access to the campus.
