Rolling programme to refurbish lecture theatres/seminar rooms including the installation of specialist AV equipment, DDA upgrade works, fixed seating, decorations, lighting, new carpets and furnishings. The works were undertaken during University vacation periods with the availability of some rooms limited to a single week. This required the programme and scope of works to be closely controlled and managed to ensure correct coordination and sequencing of the various contractor/supplier activities. The rooms vary in size from 10 to 300 seats and are located across five University campuses.

Gentle Consulting took the role of overall programme manager, responsible for compiling a master scope of works in consultation with various different internal stakeholders and developing/monitoring the global construction programme. An advanced Information Management System (IMS) was utilised to enable effective coordination of the scope/programme and dissemination of these to the project team in a format that was easily understood by all parties
