Gentle Consulting was appointed to provide project management on the furnishing of two floors of open plan office space within the John Payne Building. This involved working with the University's Space Planner.
Gentle Consulting also provided move management and relocated eight different Estate and Facilities Management Teams from two campuses (a total of 70 staff). As many of the staff being relocated were not familiar with an open plan office environment, consultations were held with User Representatives on layout and types of FF&E required. A Move Handbook was produced and all aspects of the move from removals through to notifying OBU Telephone Services of extension moves and OBU Networking of PC moves was arranged.
