Gentle Consulting has recently been awarded the contract to manage the occupation of a new multimillion pound purpose built laboratory, teaching and office facility for the University of Southampton. This includes the decant of around 300 staff and associated equipment into the new 10,000m2 building together with the provision of an extensive Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) package incorporating specialist equipment, furniture, AV and fixtures.

The Building Occupation Management Service has been developed in response to client demands for a dedicated approach to these activities. This is an important and often overlooked stage of a construction project which is critical to its overall success.
