Gentle Consulting has provided procurement consultancy advice to the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority since 2000 as part of a framework agreement. The commission has involved the decommissioning of existing nuclear facilities at UKAEA's Culham and Winfrith sites.

Gentle Consulting is assisting in the preparation of contracts and procurement of specialist staff and services required for UKAEA to operate Europe's Joint European Torus (JET) facilities, for a collective European programme of research.
